DriverVer = 01/22/2016, 10.18.13.6175

- Windows 7/8/10 users must disable Driver Signature Enforcement to install unsigned drivers

- RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR if you get 'Requires Elevation' error message

- Supports Geforce 400-900 Series Cards

Before updating it is recommended you uninstall your current driver using one of the methods below.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/327414-nvidia-drivers-avoid-problems.html or use DDU (preferably in safe mode) http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

XG drivers are tweaked to improve image quality and stability while performance may increase or decrease slightly depending on your system specs. A few XG registry tweaks include mods to the following:

Paletted Textures In Video Memory
Render Quality Flags
Target Flush Count
Texture Clamp Behavior
Texture LOD Bias
Use Cached PCI Mappings
Texture Memory Space
Downloaded Memory Space
Texture Precache
UMA Fast Frame Buffering
Main 3D rendering
Triple Buffering
Area Anisotropic Filtering

I really would like feedback on H1Z1 (Will install this night anyways), because I can't understand how I get such low FPS (30-40ish sometimes) when I have everything on low and with SLI 670s

This from Tweakguides:

Quote:
Nvidia GeForce 361.82 Hotfix
2 February 2016

Nvidia has released the 361.82 Hotfix graphics driver. This driver is for the GeForce 400 series and above under Windows 7, 8 and 10. It removes the 'Eject GPU' item.

Does this XG release remove that "Eject GPU" thingamajig?

Thanks. So if I install this, I will get that bug? How do you remove it? By installing the hotfix driver Nvidia rolled out? Wont' that erase the XG settings?

The Hotfix is a complete new driver. If you install them, you will loose Semps changes. He would have to mod the Hotfix Drivers too. but it seems just me have some problems with the new Xtreme-G Mod.

Its a new driver number but it's the driver-branch that is the successor of 361.75.

Seems no other changes except the "Eject" function beeing available for internal GPU, when it should not. This is new issue due to external-cases allowed now by nvidia-driver, so ejecting must be possible. I wonder if trying to eject internal would work actually of if it'S just a dead-function just showing up while it shouldn't.

You should simply not click that and you are fine.

I dont think we need the new hofix driver to have XG tweaks again.

This is really good stable nice performing driver with better image quality than original. Nice One.

From TweakGuides,
Note: These drivers may add a new GPU-related 'Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media' USB icon to the Notification Area. Nvidia has stated that: "This is part of the new beta support for external GPUs however this message will be removed from the next driver." It is harmless if left alone, but can be hidden under Settings>System>Notifications & actions>Select which icons appear on the taskbar. Furthermore, the drivers also add the Nvidia Backend and Nvidia Settings programs to your startup, even if you don't install GeForce Experience; both can be safely disabled as covered on this page of the Nvidia GeForce Tweak Guide, which I've now revised and clarified.

Just to clear things up from that TweakGuide:

1: The site states today:
Quote:
Update: The 'Eject GPU' item can be completely removed by going to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm key in the Windows Registry and setting SurpriseRemovalSupport to 0, then rebooting.

Thx so we can remove that issue in 361.75 XG.

2: 361.75 XG did not install any startup-programms or system-services for me that are mentioned in that guide. I pick Custom then only Driver, HDAudio and Physx.

What i got is "nvidia display driver service" and NvGameMonitor.exe in startup, wonder what that is. But there is definetly no Experience installed.

Tried this driver with some SweetFX-demilk/dither/vibrance on calibrated screen... oh so nice. Smile What a bless.

Only difference is the hotfix itself.Removing the Eject Gpu Function. The driver is basically the same.Which is why it was easy enough to edit the files whilst leaving the tweaks intact.
